Dig and host from [[https://www.isc.org/bind/|BIND]] are extremely useful but ISC no longer supplies Windoze builds so use [[https://chocolatey.org/|Chocolatey]] to install the [[https://community.chocolatey.org/packages/bind-toolsonly|bind-toolsonly package]].

If you use the ''host'' command and notice that the search suffixes aren't working:
  - Create the file "C:\Program Files\ISC BIND 9\etc\resolv.conf"
  - Put the line ''search example.com example.org'' in your new resolv.conf file.
