Templates can save you a lot of effort, but where should save them? You'll probably have to figure it out for yourself because Microsoft can't decide and doesn't tell you. There really should be a “Save as Template” option that just handles it but flark forbid Microsoft make anything easy. Try these locations.

• C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
